-131 Silicone O-Ring, 70A Durometer, Red, 1-11/16" ID, 1-7/8" OD, 3/32" Width (Pack of 100) Product Description


This silicone O-ring is red in color, round in shape, has a durometer of 7OA, and is designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.

Silicone is acceptable for temperature applications between -65 degrees F (-54 degrees C) to 450 degrees F (232 degrees C). It has good resistance to ozone, weather, detergent, salt water, engine and transmission oil, non-petroleum brake fluid, hydraulic fluids that resist fire, vegetable and animal oils, and high molecular weight chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons. Silicone is vulnerable to mechanical wear and tear, water and steam over 250 degrees F (121 degrees C), aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene), chlorinated hydrocarbons (trichloroethylene), acids and bases, and hydrocarbon fuels.

O-rings commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders. They are circular in shape, with a round cross section and a hole in the center, similar to a doughnut. O-rings are available in a number of sizes, and can be ordered based on required nominal inside diameter (ID), outer diameter (OD), and cross-sectional (CS) diameter.

This silicone O-ring has a shore durometer of 70A. Shore durometer is the hardness of a material, and its resistance to permanent indentation. A higher durometer value indicates greater resistance to indentation on a scale of 0 to 100, with 100 indicating no indentation.

This silicone O-ring meets standards defined by Aerospace Standard AS568A, which is the Aerospace Size Standard for O-rings.

I really like this smooth, soft cloth-coated cable. I'll be honest and say I chose it for its appearance. The sound seems fine, no extraneous noise and the T-plug suits my amp or use with Apogee Jam or other similar interfaces. The only surprise is that it's actually quite stiff. A more flexible relaxed cable would make for less unnatural curling. Makes a nice change from the standard black plastic cable.

I have owned several of these. They are really cute and if you can attatch them to your cars dash or back window you can create a living garden. I saw one back window just full of them. They are very active during bright sunlight and sway and dance quickly. Small children love to watch them but they are not made to be toys they are to look at. These would make great name card holders at a party. They do make a clacking noise if you have them in bright light because of parts touching from moving so fast. The noise isnt to bad.

Mine both seemed broken when I got them. I tried moving the dials at the bottom but that didn't help. I unscrewed the bottoms using a long thin screw driver and fiddled around with the mechanisms. Once I'd done that they worked.

I can stand a lot of stuff, a lot of pain, a lot of disappointments, and a lot of bad smell. Another way of putting it is, it takes a lot to overcome my procrastination. And finally today, the bad smell of my toilet overcame my procrastination. I finally could not stand it anymore and when I lifted up the toilet seat I discovered that a member of my family had had explosive diarrhea and I had been sitting on a disgustingly dirty toilet for a full week!

Fortunately, I had just bought some Lysol toilet bowl cleaner and I squeezed it under the rim just like the instructions said and cleaned the bowl thoroughly. A few hours later when I had to have a bowel movement I noticed that there was absolutely no bad smell at all!

Now, this review isn't about bowel movements, but I just wanted to say that all that stuff that had been fomenting on the side of the bowl for a full week, it's all gone. No stains, no smell, no nothing. Just a sparkling clean bowl and clean as the day it came from the factory.

I could also say that it has something to do with my cleaning prowess but I'm gonna have to give partial credit to Lysol. Any product that can cut through week old crap like that I can highly recommend it to you. And the current price is good. With free shipping, it's a great deal.
